SureStay Hotel by Best Western Chowchilla Yosemite

VERY NICE stay. This looks like an older hotel bought and refurbished wonderfully. The room was well lit....cheerful..great bed, great internet etc. Good basic motel breakfast. A wonderful and friendly staff. NO complaints and I will.stay there again.

I was worried when I reserved this hotel in Chowchilla. Unsure what we would find. All I can say is I would 100% recommend it! Bed was comfortable (pillows aren’t so bring a pillow), and the bed is HUGE! The room was spacious and remodeled beautifully! Huge accessible shower. Large fridge and easy access microwave (a great find since most accessible rooms mount them high!). Light switches are easy access to the sides of beds. It maybe borderline for ability to put a hoyer under the bed but I think it should fit. They even had the towel rack lower so I could reach the clean towels after a shower. The owners realized a truck from the work crews was parked in the HC space, so went and found the driver and required them to move it so it was available for those who need it, even though there was a second open spot. Super impressed with their awareness of access. Breakfast is yogurt, waffles, toast, the basics. But all fresh and as soon as I entered with my chair they were out to assist me any way I needed in reaching items etc. Not over bearing, but simply supportive. Perfect balance of support. Parking lot was super safe and secure. The entire place is clean and welcoming. Such a nice find after a long day!

The manager was very friendly, breakfast bar was fine.

This is our go to hotel everytime we are in Chowchilla.. great staff.. great location.. especially since there is really nothing in Chowchilla.. rooms are always nice and cozy and clean.. it's not a fancy all amenities place.. but it just feels comfortable.. decent beds.. plenty of pillows.. good fridge.. large rooms.. and a quiet area.. plus there is a really good market next store.. that has everything.. and we always feels safe.. can't say enough.. we love this place.. and shout out to the wonderful couple that run it.

We got a room on the second floor. It was clean and well-lit, though there was a bit of a musky smell. No pests and the lobby staff was accomodating. The breakfast was a standard continental but the dining room exceptionally well-cleaned which was really nice!
